The Mission of IMHC, Inc is providing critical mental health, wellness, rehabilitation and support services to Ukraine, and consulting with professionals throughout the world.
Our current focus is two-fold:
assisting therapists and mental health providers in Israel with trauma-informed therapies honed in Ukraine;
and
building a state-of-the-art facility providing comprehensive, holistic, trauma-informed rehabilitation and mental health care to Ukrainian military, veterans, & civilians, profoundly impacted by the on-going war.
The first building planned for construction will cost $3,255,000. It will provide in-patient and out-patient treatment, as well as administrative offices. For more information on the whole project, check out our website: UIT.ORG.UA.
At IMHC, our vision to create a community where mental health is a top priority and individuals can access the resources they need to achieve optimal well-being is more than just words. We have, in partnership with the UIT charitable fund, purchased a piece of land in Ukraine, near Kyiv, and have launched an ambitious, multi-million dollar capital campaign.
Roughly 1,100,000 Ukrainian men and 100,000 women, have been, or are currently, fighting for the future of their nation. When these veterans return home, responsibilities such as home and family care still fall on their shoulders, as they struggle to process what they have seen and experienced during the last three years. Additionally, many civilian women who remain at home carry the burdens of raising children while their husbands serve in active combat or cope with the loss of a loved one. Many of these veterans and civilians have endured sexual violence, death, displacement and living in occupied territories.
We are launching our capital campaign to build a state-of-the-art complex that will provide comprehensive, holistic, trauma- informed care to veterans, civilians, families, and children who have been profoundly impacted by the on-going war. The first building planned for construction will cost $3,225,000. It will provide in-patient and out-patient treatment, as well as administrative offices.
Visit our UIT Capital Campaign Page & join us today and invest in the future of hope & healing in Ukraine.
The date is approaching fast and we’re counting on you to help us make our goal of $41,819 to finish the pre-building costs for our first UIT building by March 31
