1.2 million Ukrainians are currently engaged with the war with Russia. Most of the soldiers who started fighting in the war 2.5 years ago in February of 2022, have been rotated out from frontlines, were wounded, or killed.
Our team works with several military and National Guard units, both in Kyiv and on the front lines to ensure they have the tools necessary to remain resilient and battle-ready, while safeguarding their long-term mental health and physical wellness.
We are experienced in EMDR, CBT and bilateral stimulation.
We also provide assessments for units before they return home to ensure families stay safe once the soldier returns for a visit or is transitioned out of the military.
There is more need for traumatherapy services than there is current capacity.

Ukraine inherited a rudimentary soviet system with old hospitals. The Ukraine outpatient and inpatient treatment model is heavy on medical treatment and significantly lacking on the psychotherapy side. Currently, any psychologist willing to work with the military is accepted.
Our team is working to train these military psychologists in best practices and effective therapies through a military lens. We also offer training on the integration of the whole person - physical, mental and spiritual with a focus on spiritual-traumas such as Moral Injury and Survivors's Guilt.
Military Psychologists are able to take our 2-year training program through the International Institute of Postgraduate Education online while working full time with soldiers or National Guard units.
We offer a variety of programs to help our military families with resiliency, mental health and overall family wellness.
Our team offers counseling services tailored to each family member.
We also provide weekend retreats in the Caucasus Mountains with activities for adults and children to get away from the war for just a moment, recharge and reengage with each other.
Our team of 20 dedicated clinicians work with children and adolescents affected by the war in Ukraine. We work with children of all ages and all backgrounds - military families, veteran parent or civilian. We partner closely with the Association for Play Therapy.
We offer Telehealth services for Ukrainian children and families currently displaced to other European countries, Canada and the U.S.
At IMHC, our mission doesn't stop with Ukraine. We are a global leader in research and best practices for EMDR and war related traumatherapy. We gladly share what we have learned with other mental health professionals in conflict zones.
We currently have a contract to work with therapists in Israel, both in-person and virtually.

Are you able to make a significant gift and have a media platform to help us spread the word?
We are looking for at least 12 Guardian Force Ambassadors
to help fund mental health for men in Ukraine - Military, Guard, Veterans and Civilians. All of whom have been told for far too long
to just push it down.
Our plans include in-patient, out-patient and virtual appointments - and an ambitious plan for a media campaign encouraging more men to participate.
Unable to contribute $24,00/year or $2,000/month but have other supportive services to offer?
